A Fox News Digital investigation has identified a transnational network of far-left communist and socialist organizations amplifying France's student protests to advance a broader political agenda. The report asserts that these groups are using tactics previously deployed in the United States to deepen divisions and project chaos, framing a domestic education dispute as part of a wider ideological confrontation.

BreakThrough News, a New York City-based media outlet, sent "BREAKING" alerts about students storming Bastille Square in Paris. The outlet is funded by Neville Roy Singham, an American-born, Shanghai-based tech tycoon who has financed a network of communist and far-left groups in the U.S. for nearly a decade. Fox News Digital analyzed scores of news articles, social media posts, and public statements to map this ecosystem.

The investigation identified 50 organizations within the protest movement and its wider support network. The cohort is split between fifteen youth-focused entities and thirty-five adult organizations. The youth segment includes several communist movements alongside a Muslim student association. The adult tier consists of a dozen labor unions, eight communist or socialist bodies, five issue-specific groups, five civil-rights or human-rights groups, four political parties, and one Palestinian advocacy group.

Among the political parties identified are La France Insoumise and the French Communist Party. Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, described the situation as the same "Red-Green ecosystem" that has disrupted infrastructure in the United States. He noted that Singham funds the same networks involved in street unrest in the U.S., stating that the goal of these groups is to dismantle Western institutions.

The network includes national labor federations such as the Confédération nationale du travail and the Confédération générale du travail. Education-sector unions like CFDT Public Education, Training and Research and CGT Éduc'action called for strikes in support of the high school movement. Other supporters include the Ligue des Droits de l’Homme and SOS Racisme.

On the streets of Paris, activists waved red flags bearing the hammer and sickle. Banners displayed slogans such as "Against Imperialist Wars" and "Class War!" associated with the Young Communists Movement of France. Fabien Roussel, national secretary of the French Communist Party, posed with protesters and posted images on X, declaring solidarity with high school students. The party also promoted campaigns demanding a halt to arms supplies to Israel.

BreakThrough News published an Instagram video showing Bally Bagayoko, the far-left mayor of Saint-Denis, sliding in front of students during a confrontation with police. The video received approximately 346,000 likes in one day. Among those who liked the post were Twitch influencer Hasan Piker, BreakThrough News editor Zoe Alexandra, and chapters of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and Jewish Voice for Peace.

International connections extend to Greece, where the Communist Youth expressed solidarity with French students. In India, Indian Alliance Paris promoted the French agitation while drawing parallels with local student demonstrations. The organization co-sponsored events at the People's Forum Inc. in Manhattan, a hub for communist organizing launched by Singham in 2017 with $22.44 million in funding. The forum has coordinated hundreds of protests across America.

TeleSUR, an international television network within the Singham-funded ecosystem, shared footage of French students clashing with police under headlines suggesting escalating tensions. On Thursday, BreakThrough News posted a collage of video clips from eight countries, including the U.S., Spain, India, France, Brazil, Belgium, Chile and Germany, under the headline "YOUTH RISE UP AROUND THE WORLD." The report concludes that these networks package local unrest as evidence of a growing global uprising.
