LeBron James is utilizing Fanatics corporate aviation to manage his commute between New York City and Philadelphia for the 2025 NBA season. The arrangement allows the NBA's all-time leading scorer to bypass the typical two-hour drive over the New Jersey Turnpike in favor of a flight that takes roughly half an hour.

James has been spotted arriving at and leaving practices via helicopter traveling to and from New York. A source with Fanatics told Fox News that the company's corporate aviation services are part of James' brand deal. A spokesperson for James confirmed the arrangement via email, stating that the agreement signed almost three years ago includes access to the company's corporate aviation.

The spokesperson noted that this feature is common in deals with Fanatics' largest athletes and expressed appreciation for the partnership as James splits his time between the two cities. The spokesperson did not specify the exact value of the aviation benefit or whether it is exclusive to James among Fanatics athletes.

This logistical setup accompanies James' transition to the Philadelphia 76ers. He is set to begin his 24th NBA season later this month after spending his previous eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. James signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Sixers, a move he described as his "last decision." According to Forbes, James has an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion from career earnings and sponsorships.

The Philadelphia 76ers have also strengthened their roster by adding Jaylen Brown via trade. The team now features Brown alongside veterans Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. The new-look Sixers are positioned as a serious threat to the reigning NBA champion New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference as they look to complete their long-awaited process.
