Spark I Acquisition Corporation has agreed to contribute a one-time deposit of $0.10 per share to its trust account to facilitate the extension of its deadline for completing an initial business combination. The company announced the move on September 29, 2026, stating that the additional contribution will apply to Class A ordinary shares that are not redeemed at its upcoming extraordinary general meeting. This deposit is designed to increase the per-share price payable to public shareholders in the event of redemptions related to a proposed business combination with ZincFive, Inc., or upon liquidation, whichever occurs first.
The additional contribution is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026. It will be made in addition to the monthly deposits already provided by the company's sponsor into the trust account. The primary purpose of this financial adjustment is to support shareholders who choose to remain invested while the company extends its time to consummate a deal from September 29, 2026, to March 29, 2027.
Public shareholders who previously submitted redemption requests to Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the company's transfer agent, have until Friday, October 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time to withdraw those requests. Shareholders who do not withdraw their requests by this deadline will receive the original redemption price, which is estimated to be approximately $10.92 per share. Those wishing to withdraw their redemption requests must contact the SPAC Redemption Team at Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company in New York before the stated deadline.
